GITR/TNFRSF18 Recombinant Proteins and Flow Antibodies

GITR (Glucocorticoid-Induced TNFR-Related Protein), encoded by TNFRSF18, is a costimulatory TNF-receptor-family member. It is constitutively enriched on regulatory T cells and is induced on conventional CD4+ and CD8+ T cells following activation. Its ligand GITRL is primarily expressed by antigen-presenting cells. GITR-GITRL signaling can enhance T-cell proliferation, survival, and effector function while altering the balance between regulatory and effector T-cell activity. These properties make GITR relevant to tumor immunity, Treg biology, autoimmunity, and inflammatory disease. Agonistic-antibody activity can depend on epitope, Fc function, and receptor clustering, requiring both binding and functional characterization.
