SEZ6 Proteins, Flow Antibodies & Stable Cell Lines

SEZ6, or Seizure Related 6 Homolog, is a type I membrane protein primarily associated with the nervous system and belongs to the SEZ6 protein family. Its extracellular region contains multiple CUB and Sushi domains, and the protein has been implicated in neuronal development, dendritic morphology, synaptic function, and neural signaling. More recently, SEZ6 has attracted attention as a potential tumor-associated cell-surface target because of its expression in selected neuroendocrine malignancies and comparatively limited expression in many peripheral normal tissues. These characteristics have generated interest in SEZ6 for ADC and antibody-based therapeutic research. For ADC development, candidate antibodies must be evaluated not only for binding affinity and specificity but also for cell-surface recognition, internalization, and payload-mediated cytotoxicity.
