CSF1R/CD115 Recombinant Proteins, Antibodies and Stable Cell Lines

Colony Stimulating Factor 1 Receptor (CSF1R), also known as CD115 or the M-CSF receptor, is a type III receptor tyrosine kinase expressed primarily on monocytes, macrophages, and selected myeloid progenitor populations. Its ligands, CSF1 and IL-34, promote receptor dimerization and downstream signaling that regulates monocyte/macrophage differentiation, survival, proliferation, and tissue homeostasis. Within the tumor microenvironment, the CSF1-CSF1R pathway plays an important role in the recruitment, maintenance, and functional polarization of tumor-associated macrophages. CSF1R is therefore widely studied in myeloid immunology, tumor-microenvironment biology, inflammation, fibrosis, and macrophage-associated disease mechanisms. Antibody discovery against CSF1R often requires characterization of extracellular-domain recognition, cellular binding, species cross-reactivity, and effects on ligand-receptor interactions.
