Recombinant Human ECSCR Protein with C-terminal human Fc tag
The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 36.0 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of ECSCR-hFc is approximately 35-70 kDa due to glycosylation.
The purity of the protein is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.

The protein encoded by this gene is primarily found in endothelial cells and blood vessels, where it is involved in cell shape changes and EGF-induced cell migration. It can enhance the activation of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2/kinase insert domain receptor and also promote the proteolysis of internalized kinase insert domain receptor.
