Recombinant human NRG1 Protein with C-terminal Human Fc tag
The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 50.3 kDa after removal of the signal peptide.The apparent molecular mass of NRG1-hFc is approximately 55-70 kDa due to glycosylation.
The purity of the protein is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.

These isoforms are expressed in a tissue-specific manner and differ significantly in their structure, and are classified as types I, II, III, IV, V and VI. Dysregulation of this gene has been linked to diseases such as cancer, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder (BPD).
