Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 91.0 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of PTGFRN-His is approximately 100-130 kDa due to glycosylation.
Purity	The purity of the protein is greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.

Background	Inhibits the binding of prostaglandin F2-alpha (PGF2-alpha) to its specific FP receptor, by decreasing the receptor number rather than the affinity constant. Functional coupling with the prostaglandin F2-alpha receptor seems to occur (By similarity). In myoblasts, associates with tetraspanins CD9 and CD81 to prevent myotube fusion during muscle regeneration (By similarity).[UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot Function]
