CXCR4/CD184 Full-Length Nanodisc Proteins and Flow Antibodies

CXC chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4), also known as CD184, belongs to the rhodopsin-like family and contains 352 amino acids. It is a class A seven-transmembrane chemokine receptor whose principal ligand is CXCL12/SDF-1. The CXCR4-CXCL12 axis is essential during embryogenesis and regulates hematopoietic stem-cell homing, immune-cell trafficking, and development of the cardiovascular and nervous systems. In adults, CXCR4 is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells, lymphocytes, monocytes, endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and other populations. Ligand binding activates Gi-dependent and downstream PI3K/AKT, MAPK, and cytoskeletal signaling to regulate chemotaxis, adhesion, and survival. Many tumors exploit this pathway to migrate toward CXCL12-rich organs such as bone marrow, liver, lung, and lymph nodes, linking CXCR4 to metastasis, tumor-microenvironment biology, and treatment resistance.
