GPR87 recombinant proteins and antibodies

G-protein coupled receptor 87 (GPR87) is a G protein-coupled receptor that is highly expressed in various tumor tissues, particularly in solid tumors such as lung cancer, gastric cancer, and colorectal cancer. GPR87 plays a crucial role in tumor biology, including processes such as cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and immune evasion. As a result, GPR87 has been identified as a promising tumor target, offering potential new strategies for cancer treatment.

The aberrant expression of GPR87 is closely linked to the development and progression of various cancers, especially in terms of tumor aggressiveness, metastasis, and the tumor immune microenvironment. Studies have shown that GPR87 regulates the interaction between tumor cells and their microenvironment, promoting tumor cell proliferation and survival, while potentially influencing tumor immune evasion mechanisms. Due to its pivotal role in immune evasion and cell proliferation, GPR87 has become a potential target in cancer immunotherapy.

Currently, drug development targeting GPR87 is still in its early stages, primarily focusing on small molecule inhibitors. These small molecules aim to inhibit GPR87 activity, interfering with its function in tumor cells to suppress tumor cell proliferation, migration, and immune evasion. Additionally, monoclonal antibodies targeting GPR87 are also an area of active research, with the goal of specifically binding to the GPR87 receptor and blocking its interaction with ligands.
As understanding of GPR87’s role in the tumor immune microenvironment deepens, it is expected that GPR87-targeted drugs will enter broader clinical research in the next few years, offering new treatment options for cancer patients.
