HER3/ERBB3 Proteins, Antibodies and Stable Cell Lines

Human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (HER3), also known as ERBB3, is a member of the ERBB/HER receptor family. Although its extracellular architecture resembles other ERBB receptors, HER3 has markedly impaired intrinsic kinase activity and therefore relies heavily on heterodimerization with other receptor tyrosine kinases, particularly HER2, for efficient downstream signaling. Binding of neuregulin-family ligands promotes receptor complex formation and strong activation of PI3K/AKT and MAPK signaling, influencing cell survival, proliferation, metabolism, and migration. HER3 is expressed or overexpressed in multiple tumor types and can act as a compensatory signaling pathway following inhibition of EGFR– or HER2-driven signaling. Its role in adaptive resistance and tumor progression has made HER3 an important target for monoclonal antibodies, ADCs, and multispecific therapeutic strategies. More HER3 mechanism of action >>

DIMA BIOTECH provides human HER3 full and domain-specific recombinant proteins as well as cynomolgus HER3 protein for antibody screening, epitope studies, binding characterization, and cross-species assessment. A broad antibody portfolio includes monoclonal antibodies validated for flow cytometry, IHC, or WB, biosimilar reference antibodies, and PE/biotin conjugates. A HER3-overexpressing Jurkat stable cell line supports FACS and cell-binding studies. DIMA has also identified multiple HER3 lead antibodies, including human/cynomolgus cross-reactive molecules, with selected candidates undergoing internalization and cell-killing assessment.
