IL17RA/CD217 Recombinant Proteins and Flow Antibodies

Interleukin-17 Receptor A (IL17RA), also known as CD217, is a major shared receptor subunit within the IL-17 receptor family. Together with IL17RC, IL17RA forms receptor complexes responsive to IL-17A and IL-17F. Ligand binding recruits the adaptor ACT1 and engages TRAF6, NF-κB, MAPK, and C/EBP signaling to induce chemokines, inflammatory cytokines, and antimicrobial mediators. These pathways are important for mucosal defense against extracellular pathogens but can also drive neutrophilic inflammation and chronic tissue damage when persistently activated. IL17RA therefore represents an important receptor-level target for autoimmune and inflammatory disease research.
