CD142/TF/F3 Recombinant Proteins, Antibodies and Stable Cell Lines

CD142, commonly known as Tissue Factor (TF) and encoded by F3, is the principal initiator of the extrinsic coagulation pathway. Its closest functional partners include coagulation factor VII/VIIa, factor X, and downstream thrombin-generating components of the coagulation cascade. Following vascular injury, TF becomes exposed to circulating factor VII/VIIa and forms an active complex that initiates downstream coagulation. Beyond hemostasis, TF-associated signaling can regulate cellular migration, inflammation, angiogenesis, and tumor biology through protease-activated receptor pathways and related mechanisms. Although TF exposure is tightly controlled under physiological conditions, elevated surface expression occurs in multiple solid tumors, creating interest in TF as both a coagulation-related molecule and a tumor-associated cell-surface target.
