CTLA-4/CD152 Recombinant Proteins, Flow Antibodies and Stable Cell Lines

Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte-Associated Protein 4 (CTLA-4), also known as CD152, is an inhibitory immune-checkpoint receptor of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is induced on activated T cells and constitutively expressed at high levels on regulatory T cells. CTLA-4 shares the ligands CD80 and CD86 with the costimulatory receptor CD28 but binds them with higher affinity, thereby limiting CD28-mediated activation and helping maintain immune tolerance. Because CTLA-4 acts at a critical stage of T-cell priming, it remains a central target in tumor immunology, regulatory T-cell biology, autoimmune research, and immune-checkpoint antibody development. Candidate antibodies are commonly evaluated for CD80/CD86 blocking, cellular receptor occupancy, Fc-related activity, and effects on T-cell activation.
