4-1BB Ligand/TNFSF9 Recombinant Proteins and Flow Antibodies

4-1BB Ligand (4-1BBL), encoded by TNFSF9 and also known as CD137L, is a member of the tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily and the natural ligand of the costimulatory receptor 4-1BB/CD137. 4-1BBL is primarily expressed on activated antigen-presenting cells, including dendritic cells, B cells, monocytes, and macrophages. Binding to 4-1BB on activated T cells and NK cells promotes receptor clustering and TRAF-dependent signaling, enhancing lymphocyte proliferation, survival, cytokine production, and effector activity. The 4-1BB/4-1BBL axis therefore represents an important connection between antigen-presenting cells and effector lymphocytes and is widely studied in tumor immunity, immune activation, multispecific antibody design, and cell-therapy costimulatory systems.
