CD47 Full-Length Nanodisc Proteins, Antibodies and Stable Cell Lines

CD47 is a transmembrane glycoprotein widely expressed on the surface of various cell types, particularly tumor cells, red blood cells, and immune cells. It consists of an extracellular immunoglobulin-like domain, five transmembrane segments, and a short cytoplasmic tail. One of its best-characterized functions is interaction with SIRPα on myeloid cells. Engagement of SIRPα generates inhibitory signaling that reduces macrophage-mediated phagocytosis, establishing the CD47-SIRPα axis as an important innate immune checkpoint. Tumor cells can increase CD47 expression to reinforce this anti-phagocytic signal and escape immune clearance. CD47 also participates in integrin-associated signaling, adhesion, migration, and cellular stress responses, making its biology broader than a single ligand-receptor pathway. Antibody programs targeting CD47 therefore commonly evaluate SIRPα blocking, macrophage phagocytosis, cellular binding, Fc-dependent activity, and selectivity toward tumor versus normal blood-cell populations.

DIMA BIOTECH provides full-length human CD47 in Synthetic Nanodisc formats for native membrane-context binding, SPR/BLI, and conformational epitope studies. Human, mouse, and cynomolgus CD47 ECD proteins support CD47-SIRPα interaction assays, ELISA, antibody screening, and cross-species evaluation. Multiple flow cytometry-validated monoclonal and reference antibodies, including PE- and biotin-conjugated formats, support cell-surface detection and candidate comparison. A CD47-overexpressing CHO-S stable cell line enables FACS and cell-binding assays.
