GIPR Full-Length Nanodisc Proteins, ECD Proteins and Flow Antibodies

The glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor (GIPR) is a class B1 G protein-coupled receptor composed of a large N-terminal extracellular ligand-binding domain and a seven-transmembrane signaling core. Binding of GIP primarily activates Gs, increasing intracellular cAMP and engaging PKA, EPAC, and additional downstream pathways. GIPR is particularly important in pancreatic β cells, where it contributes to nutrient-dependent insulin secretion, but it is also expressed in adipose tissue, gastrointestinal tissues, bone, and the central nervous system. Growing understanding of incretin biology has positioned GIPR as an important target in glucose control, obesity, energy metabolism, and multi-receptor metabolic strategies.
