G-protein coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D) is an orphan class C G protein-coupled receptor with a seven-transmembrane architecture. Unlike many broadly expressed GPCRs, GPRC5D shows relatively restricted expression in normal tissues, with notable expression in hair-follicle-associated structures, while high cell-surface expression is observed on malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma. Its expression is largely independent of BCMA, making GPRC5D particularly valuable as a complementary target in plasma-cell malignancy research. Because GPRC5D is a multi-pass GPCR, preservation of native membrane conformation is critical for antibody discovery. DIMA BIOTECH offers a broad panel of full-length GPRC5D proteins in MNP, Nanodisc, and cell-free membrane formats, together with recombinant extracellular-domain proteins.
